Home care: connecting the office with care workers in the field.

Home autonomy services, home help and home care services, and personal services coordinate schedules, mobile care workers and families every day. Skill Group helps you organise the telephony, equipment and digital tools that support this organisation.

Starting from rounds and schedules.

Who prepares the schedules, how changes are passed on, how a care worker reports a problem: the project starts with your organisation. The scheduling or visit tracking software keeps its own vendor and support terms, and we work around it.

Equipping mobile care workers.

Smartphones, business apps, mobile plans and security settings need to be prepared, issued and tracked. Together we organise device preparation, replacement in case of breakdown or loss, and protection of the information the devices hold.

Lone worker protection systems are specific solutions, studied with their suppliers.

Staying reachable for the people you support and their families.

Call handling, on-call cover, forwarding and messages: business telephony is built with the people who answer and around the hours when the service must stay reachable. An emergency involving a person is a matter for the usual emergency services.

Protecting the information of the people you support.

Care plans, contact details, health information: access is restricted to authorised staff and mobile devices are protected. Backup and staff awareness training are among the measures to prioritise.

Hosting health data with a third party requires a specific certification (HDS, for health data hosting), to be checked with your software vendors.

Lightening the administrative load.

Double data entry, visit records, sending documents: some tasks can be simplified. Automating administrative tasks starts from the data used and the approvals that need to stay in place.

Preparing a first conversation.

Tell us the number of care workers, the areas covered and the tools you use. Do not include any information about the people you support in the form.

Your questions

Do you replace our visit tracking software?

No. We work with the tool you use and its vendor, on equipment, access, telephony and how support is organised.

Can you manage our care workers' smartphones?

Yes, within a defined scope: preparation, configuration, monitoring and replacement, under the terms agreed in the contract.

Got a digital issue? You don’t have to work out who should handle it.

Describe your situation in your own words. The Skill Group team will get back to you to talk it through.
